Frequently asked questions
Can I get a NISS without an employment contract?
It depends on your situation. Usually you need an employment relationship, a job offer or registration as a self-employed worker. We review your case before proceeding.
Is the NISS the same as the NIF?
No. The NIF is the tax number, issued by the Tax Office. The NISS is the Social Security number. They are requested from different bodies and both are needed to work.
